September 1st marks a special day for Harvest, as after nearly a year in waiting, the Lord has provided a pastor to help cast vision and lead us as we pursue God together.  Shawn comes to us with strong recommendations from the Midwest Ministers Fellowship (MMF) and the endorsement of many other pastors and ministry leaders.  He and his wife Misty have been in full-time ministry for the last 8 years and are both graduates of Heart of America Seminary in Kansas City.  They just completed 12 years of marriage and have two beautiful children, Elijah (5) & Eden (3).  From 2002 to 2008 they were on the mission field in North East India helping Youth With A Mission get established in their work among Buddhist peoples.  Shawn & Misty have traveled to 7 different nations and come to Harvest carrying a heart for the unreached of the world and a desire to lead short-term teams here in the future.  Most recently, Shawn was the Director for Hillcrest Transitional Housing of Kansas, where he helped to address homelessness in Greater Kansas City.  Together, Shawn & Misty have a heart to see people's lives completely transformed, to see the Kingdom of God come on earth and God's will to be done right here as it is in Heaven.  They have a heart to see people touched, body, soul, and spirit, by the Living God and accomplish this through a pursuit of deep level intimacy with the Father.  They are excited to be here and to be a part of this family, and we are excited to see what God is going to do!!!
